You need to pay both a visa handling fee (to the Belgian embassy in Berlin) and a visa contribution fee (to the FPS Home Affairs, Immigration Office).
Handling fee
The visa handling fee is €180. Some people are exempt from paying the handling fee.
- A family member of an EU/EEA national.
- Some bursery students.
- For other specific cases, we will inform you / reimburse you.
If your application concerns multiple applicants, each one will have to pay the applicable visa handling fees. If your visa is refused, the fee will not be refunded.

Contribution fee
